Job description

Overview

Mountain River Physical Therapy, part of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a relationship-driven Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing Specialist to grow provider partnerships and increase patient referrals throughout the Wheeling area.

This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys building relationships, representing a healthcare brand in the community, and turning outreach efforts into measurable referral growth.

  • Part-Time Schedule: 16-28 Hours Weekly
  • Pay Rate: $19-$25/Hour

Responsibilities

What You’ll Accomplish

Within your first several months, you will:

· Build productive relationships with physicians, referral coordinators, case managers, hospital systems, and other healthcare partners.

· Develop and execute a territory outreach plan focused on increasing awareness and patient referrals.

· Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing provider offices.

· Coordinate opportunities for physical therapists and clinic leaders to connect with referral sources.

· Track outreach activity, referral trends, and market opportunities to determine what is working and where additional focus is needed.

· Support community events, partnerships, sponsorships, and local marketing initiatives.

· Help clinic leaders create action plans for locations needing additional referral growth.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

· 1–2 years of experience in physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, medical sales, provider relations, community outreach, or business development.

· High School Diploma/GED 

· Relevant clinical or healthcare experience preferred.

· Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.

· Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is helpful.

Additional Requirements

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to travel throughout the Wilmington territory.

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

· Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
