Job description

Business Analyst will help support client-driven analysis or pre-payment invoicing, working closely with others on the team, the candidate will be working in SQL (SQL Server, Oracle) to provide query solutions, check results, and potentially providing some interim developed solutions (stored procedures).   Must be able to grasp and internalize complex business concepts around healthcare insurance payments.

  • Develop/Maintain SQL-based queries to meet business requirements
  • Interpret and understand current business logic existing procedures (SQL) for client savings/invoicing.
  • Participate in detailed business discussions on best approaches in solutions
    Communicate effectively with development team, business partners, and other technical support teams within the organization.

Individual needed to work as a contractor as part of a team supporting client-driven requests around pre-payment savings calculation invoicing and back data.   Work requires ability to understand complex business situations and relate those to SQL-based table information.  Reporting into the Manager, Corporate Systems, the individual will be responsible for analysis and development of complex business problems related to healthcare pre-payment payment integrity savings calculations and invoicing.   The individual will work with Client Engagement leaders, SMEs in product solutions, and the finance  team responsible for client pricing and invoicing.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 Years working with SQL Server/Oracle databases
  • Working knowledge of on-prem and cloud-based solutions and deployment procedures
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
