Job description

General Cleaner

Seeking a Part-Time General Cleaner position. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as travel is required between multiple buildings from Madison to the west side of Fitchburg, which are not located on a bus route. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Applicants must be able to read and understand English in order to follow lab signage and instructions. Once fully trained, the cleaner will work independently on an assigned route. Free on-site parking is provided. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Dust surfaces including desks, cabinet tops, partitions, and other areas.• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport materials to designated disposal areas.• Sweep and mop hard-surface floors.• Vacuum floors using upright vacuums and/or backpack vacuums.• Spot clean carpets as needed.• Clean glass surfaces and windows.• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and related restroom areas.• Maintain restroom supplies and ensure restrooms remain fully stocked.• Polish metal fixtures and fittings.• Job duties and assigned areas may be adjusted at any time based on customer or management needs.• Follow all company safety procedures and standards at all times.
