Description
Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery and Funeral Home is seeking part-time Funeral Associates to assist with its funeral ministry at our funeral home in Mesa, AZ. This individual will assist funeral directors on services; drive company vehicles for service-related tasks, including transportation of family in a limousine, transporting flowers, work receptions and transferring deceased from place of death.
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Arizona driver's license; have an insurable driving record and be insurable under the Diocesan insurance provider; must be able to adhere to our professional dress code policy and work flexible hours; possess excellent communication skills and have no lifting restrictions. Previous experience in a Funeral Home setting highly desirable.
Minimum Qualifications: High school education or equivalent; two years customer service experience; experience in a Funeral Home setting is highly desirable; ability to be on call to work evening hours and Saturdays is a must; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; a practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred; must be familiar with and be able to subscribe to Catholic principles and teachings.
