Job description

DOCS Health is seeking to build a reliable network of qualified Registered Nurses to support FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) by providing essential medical care to personnel at FEMA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. These are part-time, as-needed positions - but when activated, the role becomes especially vital in maintaining the health and operational readiness of those responding to national emergencies.
This position requires an active Washington, D.C. RN license. As a Registered Nurse, you will be called upon during times of increased need, playing a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare services that directly support FEMA's mission during critical moments.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to FEMA personnel individuals.
• Assess and prioritize medical needs of patients, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with medical protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to coordinate patient care and services.
• Educate individuals and communities on health and safety measures during disaster situations.
• Adhere to FEMA's policies, procedures, and guidelines related to disaster response and healthcare delivery.
Requirements
• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Certification: Possess a minimum of CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Active Washington D.C. Registered Nurse License.
