Job Summary
Join our dynamic Schmidty Team as a Line Cook. We are looking for Line Cooks to work 4, 6, 8 and 10 hour shifts, Weekdays, Weeknights, Weekend Days and Weekend Nights. This crew will be Part-time and Full-time hours. We are flexible.

In this role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes. Your skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests and their special events. Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout all food handling and preparation processes
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively for guests
  • Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service in a timely manner
  • Participate in catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality control

Experience

  • Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal prep requirements
  • Proven kitchen experience
