Position Mission

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution of FOCUS' digital marketing efforts by developing, scheduling, and optimizing content across key channels. This role ensures that campaigns and content are executed consistently, aligned with strategy, and effectively reach target audiences. This role partners closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to support campaign execution, influencer coordination, and performance tracking, while helping maintain strong operational systems for the digital team. This role contributes directly to the evangelistic mission by using digital media to reach, engage, and invite others into a relationship with Christ.

Position Responsibilities

Content Development and Execution

• Develop, schedule, and publish content across digital channels, including social media and blog.

• Ensure content is aligned with established messaging, campaign priorities, and timelines.

• Maintain consistency and accuracy in content execution across platforms.

Social Media Campaign Support

• Assist in the execution of social media campaigns, including content rollout and coordination.

• Support the implementation of campaign strategies across platforms.

• Help ensure campaigns are executed on time and aligned with goals.

Influencer and Partner Coordination

• Support outreach and communication with influencers and partners.

• Assist in coordinating deliverables, timelines, and content expectations.

• Track participation and ensure follow-through on campaign partnerships.

Performance Tracking and Reporting

• Monitor social media performance metrics and track key indicators of success.

• Assist in compiling reports and identifying trends in content performance.

• Support the team in making data-informed improvements.

Operational Support

• Support day-to-day operational needs of the social and digital team.

• Maintain organization of content calendars, assets, and scheduling tools.

• Help ensure workflows and processes are followed consistently.

Cultivate Divine Intimacy

• Personal prayer and/or daily Mass, when possible

• Avail yourself of other spiritual opportunities

• Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, and maintain a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people outside of FOCUS

• Live out the moral life in Christ

• A practicing Catholic or Christian in good standing with the Catholic Church. There is no other background, qualification, or experience that can substitute for this requirement

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or content execution

• Experience with content scheduling tools and social media platforms

• Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Clear written communication skills

• Experience with paid social advertising is a plus, or willingness to learn and be coached

For this role, we anticipate paying $50,000 - $60,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
