Job description

Position Title: Coordinator, Culinary Operations
Department: Heritage at Sportsman's Park
Reports To: VP, Culinary Services & Executive Chef
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly/ Part-Time)
Position Summary:
The Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the VP of Culinary Services and Executive Chef to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely execution of departmental objectives. This role supports hours worked and tips eligibility reporting (in order to provide to payroll for processing), staff scheduling coordination, and project management initiatives, including implementation and maintenance of POS and inventory systems. This role may be responsible for other, miscellaneous administrative assistance key to the operation as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Administrative Support
- Assist with bi-weekly pre-payroll preparation including timecard review and tips reconciliation - Partner with leadership to ensure accurate labor tracking - Maintain labor support records and submit to corporate payroll timely
Scheduling & Labor Coordination
- Coordinate staff scheduling for culinary operations (both front of house and back of house
- Coordinate sharing of staff from other approved affiliate offices and/or Non-profit organizations, as needed.
- Ensure alignment with labor targets and business needs - Communicate schedule updates
Project Management & Systems Implementation
- Support POS (Toast) and inventory systems (Yellow Dog) implementation - Track project timelines and deliverables - Assist with training and documentation
Operational Support
- Develop SOPs and process documentation - Generate reports to support recommendations escalated to higher management for approvals - Assist with audits and compliance tracking as requested
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience - Experience in hospitality or food service preferred - Strong Excel and organizational /accuracy skills
