Overview
The Food Service & Hospitality Assistant position with OVG at Credit One Stadium will give you hands-on industry experience while introducing you to career opportunities in hospitality, event management, food service, and sales. You will be working at the premier Sports and Entertainment venue of South Carolina, in the culinary capital of the South in Charleston on Daniel Island.
For this position you will work in one of four major areas of the operation: Administration, Concessions, Premium (VIP Club, Suites, Catering, Special Events), or Fan Experience. You will work closely with the General Manager and supervisors in these departments.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$18.00

This position will remain open until August 14, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of customer service programs and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Support the administration and analysis of guest satisfaction surveys to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Help supervise hospitality areas and event operations, including VIP events and backstage catering.
  • Coordinate and support tournament special events and premium guest experiences.
  • Contribute to delivering a positive and memorable fan experience throughout all venue events.
  • Maintain inventory levels through stocking, product tracking, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Assist with staff check-in and check-out procedures during events and operations.
  • Support basic programming, operation, and management of the venue's Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Collaborate with operations and hospitality teams to ensure efficient event execution and service delivery.
  • Communicates in a positive, respectful manner to both internal and external guests.
  • Builds and maintains knowledge of food and beverage offerings to ensure all questions are answered appropriately and accurately.
  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment.
  • Flexible to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
  • Ability to communicate with team members, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Must acquire and maintain a valid Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Cash Handling, and other required compliance trainings.
  • Motivated individual interested in Sports & Entertainment Venue Hospitality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple assignments.
