Job description

Looking for a dependable, active role with a consistent schedule and a great team? Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Part-Time Warehouse Utility Associate at our Grawn, MIDistribution Center. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and supporting sales teams by keeping product flowing smoothly. You'll help maintain inventory accuracy, rotate stock, and prepare product orders - all while working roughly 28 hours per weekday shift in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close the distribution center as scheduled.

  • Unload trailers and verify incoming inventory for accuracy.

  • Rotate product to maintain freshness and maximize shelf life.

  • Pull and prepare product to fill daily and extra sales orders.

  • Maintain accurate daily inventory using handheld devices.

  • Accept and process return-to-stock, stale, and damaged product.

  • Load trailers with returned cardboard and damaged goods.

  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and mowing when needed.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.

  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a DOT Medical Card.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate inventory management.
  • Basic math and writing skills to track and record inventory.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions related to inventory needs.

  • Effective verbal communication and ability to follow written directions.

  • Must be able to operate a route sales step van safely and competently.

  • Comfortable using proper lifting techniques and able to transport products.
