Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Escondido is hiring part-time Line Cooks. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and are passionate about craft food and beer pairing, this is your opportunity to join one of Southern California's most iconic brewery restaurants.
As a Line Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes that elevate the guest experience. This is a tip-eligible kitchen position with the opportunity to sharpen your culinary skills while working alongside a collaborative and energetic team.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using grills, fryers, ovens, and broilers
  • Execute recipes and plating with consistency, quality, and attention to detail
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment during peak service
  • Expedite orders and communicate effectively with front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams
  • Support special events, seasonal menus, and brewery programming
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Assist with inventory rotation, storage, and prep tasks
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture

  • 2-3+ years experience as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen team member in a high-volume restaurant

  • San Diego County, California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
