About Lift Bridge Brewing Co.

Founded in 2008 by a group of Stillwater friends, Lift Bridge Brewing Co. was started to brew and distribute delicious, thoughtful craft beverages that transcend the lifestyle of the St. Croix Valley and celebrate good times wherever good people and good drinks are together. Our vision is to create successful, world-class beverage experiences. We believe in establishing mutually beneficial relationships founded on respect, collaboration, and of course, great flavor! Whether it is our flagship beers, hard seltzers, craft sodas, mocktails, or innovative THC products, we pride ourselves on putting out high-quality, well-balanced beverages.

Are You Ready to Be the Face of Lift Bridge?

Do you love local craft beer and beverages? Do you find yourself smiling when you are around good people? We are looking for outgoing, passionate, and reliable individuals to join our team as Brand Ambassadors. As an off-site sampling professional, you will be the direct connection between our brewery and our amazing consumers. This is a highly flexible, fun, and engaging role where your main goal is simple: introduce folks to the Lift Bridge brand, share our story, pour delicious samples, and make people happy! This position requires only 3 to 10 hours a week, making it the perfect side gig, extra income source, or entryway into the craft beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preach the Lift Bridge Story: Greet store customers and event attendees with infectious energy. Ask if they've heard of Lift Bridge and introduce them to our local craft beers, hard seltzers, craft sodas, mocktails, or THC beverages.
  • Serve with Pride: Pour 2 oz samples of delicious craft beverages in a variety of local, off-premise (liquor stores) and on-premise (bars, restaurants, and outdoor community festivals) environments.
  • Booth Master: Set up, style, and subsequently disassemble event/tasting booths (including ice, tabletop runners, cans, and promotional swag).
  • Engage and Connect: Remain standing, friendly, and actively engaged during your sampling time slot. Provide guidance on different beer styles, helping customers navigate to where they can purchase their favorite selections.
  • Real-Time Social: Take a high-quality photo of your beautiful booth setup and tag Lift Bridge or text it to our marketing team to build real-time excitement.
  • Submit Quick Recaps: Fill out a simple 5-question Google Form recap (detailing atmosphere, setup location, staff helpfulness, customer feedback, and hours worked) within 48 hours of every tasting.

What We're Looking For (Job Requirements)

  • A genuine appreciation and enthusiasm for craft beer and craft beverages.
  • A natural, confident, and outgoing personality. You thrive around others and love sparking conversations!
  • Excellent communication skills-the ability to clearly describe various beer styles, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
  • Must be 21+ years of age to operate and present in licensed venues and adult-use retail spaces.
  • A valid driver's license with reliable transportation. You will need a vehicle with enough cargo space to transport standard sampling tubs, ice, and beer packages.
  • Physical capability to repeatedly lift a case of beer (approx. 35 lbs) and a 10 lb bag of ice.
  • Professional responsibility: We want you to enjoy yourself and have fun, but you must remain responsible and professional at all times (no over-imbibing during work).
  • Willingness to complete annual alcohol awareness/safe service certification (training paid and provided by Lift Bridge).

Compensation, Perks, & Benefits

  • Great Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour base wage.
  • Amazing Taproom Discount: 50% off all beverages and merchandise in our taproom! Enjoy pints and rep your favorite brewery on us.
  • Annual Gear Stipend: A clothing stipend is provided to keep you looking fresh in official Lift Bridge gear.
  • Mileage Reimbursement: We aim to schedule tastings within 10 miles of your home. For anything further, we fully reimburse mileage at the standard federal rate.
  • Special Incentives: Earn hourly pay incentives for working major regional events and outdoor festivals.
  • Paid Training: Get paid to learn! We provide paid educational sessions, including safe service certification and opportunity for online Cicerone beer education.
  • Unbeatable Flexibility: Manageable 3 to 10 hours per week with schedules provided 4 to 6 weeks in advance-ideal for a fun, stress-free side gig.
  • Travel Opportunities: Help us out with distant, exciting beer festivals and we will handle carpooling, per diems, and even put you up in a hotel!
