Job description

As a Barback in our iconic venues, you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps the bar running smoothly so our bartenders can shine. You'll stock and clean the bar and perform related tasks to increase the efficiency and productivity of the bartending team in a high-volume, music-fueled environment. As the ideal candidate, you're fast, friendly, and focused, understanding that in a venue with this much musical history, every shift is about delivering unforgettable experiences.
  • Restock the bars with beer, liquor, wine, glassware, juices, etc.
  • Restock concession stands with product needed for show.
  • Check the draft beers to make sure they're working and that they're not empty. If they're empty, changes the kegs.
  • Gets trash cans and towels.
  • Make sure that the warehouse beer cooler is clean and organized.
  • Maintain liquor closet and stock rooms, prepare bars/concession stands for next event/show date.
  • Ensure that the inventory of the drinks at the bar are well stocked
  • Maintain bar area for bartenders during peak hours, by stocking bar with supplies complying to neat and organized standards.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, friendly, and quality service at all times.
  • Comply with all company issued steps of service. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience
  • Experience in restaurant operations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated team player and self-starter
  • Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needs

Licenses / Certifications
  • State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire

Physical Requirements
Speak, hear, and use non-verbal cues to communicate. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Walk up and down stairs while navigating the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and frequently sit, kneel, bend, and reach to move goods. Manual dexterity for tasks such as handling dishes.
Working Conditions
Restaurant/bar/live music environments, subject to both kitchen and customer areas, with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
