Marketing & Business Development Lead

Love to Code Academy

Liberty, MO • On-site

$21 - $26/hr

Part-time

Posted 9 days ago

Job description

We grow kids, not just coders.

Help more families discover that technology can build character.

Love to Code Academy is a youth character development academy.

We use coding, robotics, and esports as an environment where kids practice teamwork, persistence, integrity, and leadership.

Technology is the environment. Character development is the outcome.

We're looking for a Marketing & Business Development Lead who can carry that story into our community — and turn interest into kids walking through our doors for their first class.

This is a part-time, in-person role (15–20 hours per week) with after-school, evening, and occasional weekend hours.

Compensation:

$21 - $26 hourly

Responsibilities:

What you'll do

You'll be the face of the academy in the community and the engine behind our enrollment journey, moving families from first discovery to their first trial experience.

  • Represent Love to Code Academy in front of chambers of commerce, social and service clubs, kids' clubs, and scouting organizations (Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts) — presenting with warmth, clarity, and confidence to parents and partners who have never heard of us.
  • Build and own our social media presence, telling growth stories that show character development rather than simply claiming it — projects kids build, teamwork in action, milestones reached.
  • Drive enrollments into our low-risk entry experiences: trial classes, intro sessions, camps, and workshops. Your north-star metric is families who try us and come back.
  • Develop community partnerships and referral relationships that open new audiences and keep word of mouth working in our favor.
  • Keep every message, post, and presentation aligned with our brand: outcome first, method second, programs third, proof last.

Qualifications:

Who you are

  • An experienced, confident presenter comfortable in front of community groups, parents, and youth organizations.
  • A skilled social media marketer who can grow an audience and convert interest into action.
  • Genuinely motivated by youth development — you believe kids should leave a program stronger in relationships, responsibility, purpose, and leadership.
  • A relationship-builder who creates trust with parents and partners alike.
  • Organized and results-driven, with a track record of driving enrollments, sign-ups, or comparable conversions.

Why this role matters

Parents rarely enroll because they want their child to learn to code. They enroll because they want their child to grow. You'll be the person who helps them see that growth is exactly what we offer — and gives their child the chance to experience it firsthand.

About Company

Love to Code Academy is a youth character development academy built on a single belief: the most important thing students build here is not a program or a robot — it is character.

Through coding, robotics, and esports, students develop the traits that matter most in life — teamwork, persistence, integrity, confidence, and leadership. Technology is the environment. Character development is the outcome.
