Job description

Monarch Investment is actively HIRING Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician at Acadian Point Apartments in Lafayette, Louisiana!
 
*Must have valid drivers license for this role, be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.


PAY: $17-20 an hour
$100/week on-call bonus and minimum 1.5 hours paid time

SCHEDULE: M-F 8-1 with rotation of emergency on-call (1x every 4th week)

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:

  • Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Maintaining property grounds
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
  • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members

 EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • General knowledge of HVAC preferred
  • 6+ months’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
  • Some dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
  • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • Have good verbal and written communication
  • Experience with pools, CPO certification preferred
  • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
  • Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days

 A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview.
