Job Title: Part-Time Afternoon Teacher Aide

Location: Mooresville Christian Academy

Position Type: Part-Time/Afternoons

This position is Monday through Friday, 11:30 to 3:15 as a 4th/5th grade teacher’s aide.

Mooresville Christian Academy is a thriving, growing Christian school dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to assist in the classroom on a part-time basis whose values align with the school mission.

Responsibilities

  • Extension of the classroom teacher
  • Tutoring
  • Monitoring
  • Grading
  • Assist with classroom management, lesson preparation, and student supervision
  • Administrative tasks related to classroom instruction
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in child development and classroom support is highly valued
  • Emotional maturity, patience, flexibility, and respect for children and adults are essential
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to cooperate with teachers and other staff
