Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday 7:45 AM-4:30 PM

Living Forward is a locally owned & operated ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Autism Center looking to make a positive impact in the community! We work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism and focus on learning through play! Have a job that matters; where you change a child's life one day at a time!

Responsibilities

You will need to complete the following responsibilities:

  • Prioritize patience and kindness in difficult situations
  • Work one-on-one providing individual treatment for children diagnosed with autism in a play-like atmosphere while working toward client-specific goals.
  • Use the principles of ABA to implement programs created by a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)
  • Attend interactive training and team-building exercises.
  • Accurately record and graph data daily
  • Write session notes daily
  • Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's day
  • Communicate openly regarding concerns, needs, and questions to BCBA
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with all team members

Qualifications

To be considered for this job, you must meet the following requirements.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Able to lift 30 to 50 pounds daily
  • Able to crawl, run, bend, jump, kneel, crouch, and any other physical requirement involved in play
  • Be able to receive and maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification. Completed in-house.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR and Safety Care training
  • Prior experience working with children preferred

  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Be able to pass a drug screen
