Job Title: Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – HCSP Medication Administration Trainer

Location: n-Person

Position Type: Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide HCSP Medication Administration Training for our direct support professionals. The ideal candidate is passionate about educating healthcare staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting safe medication administration practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct HCSP Medication Administration Training for new and existing staff.
  • Deliver engaging, interactive, and competency-based training sessions.
  • Demonstrate proper medication administration procedures in accordance with HCSP standards and agency policies.
  • Assess participant competency through skills demonstrations, written evaluations, and return demonstrations.
  • Answer questions and provide clinical guidance related to medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate training records and submit required documentation.
  • Stay current with applicable state regulations, best practices, and medication administration guidelines.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to schedule and coordinate training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience (experience in home care, developmental disabilities, or community-based services preferred).
  • Previous experience providing medication administration training or staff education is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medication safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
