Hunter Park Parking Lead

Part-time, 12 hours a week

Sunday 6:30am-2pm Additional hours for occasional Saturday Parking duties &/or office time at Hunter Park

Location: Sandals Church Hunter Park Riverside, CA, USA

Job Overview

This individual will lead the Sunday Parking Team and be responsible for ensuring that the approved parking plan for Sunday services at Hunter Park is consistently implemented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrival at 6:30am to begin setting up the Hunter Park parking lot, placing all traffic control resources in their approved locations. This task is to be completed by 7:15am.
  • Greet the first shift of Parking Team Members, ensuring they are checked in and serving in the correct locations prior to guests arriving for our 8:15am service.
  • The Hunter Park Parking lead will liaise with RPD Traffic Officers when they arrive at 9am to ensure they will fulfill all aspects of our contract with them as well as to establish communication with that days officers to ensure smooth execution of the ingress and egress of guests from the Hunter Park property before and after services.
  • During the morning services, this individual will both manage the parking team, welcoming team members who are showing up to serve during shifts 2 and 3 and also relieving team members who served early in the day.
  • Once the final service of the day starts, the removal of all non-essential traffic control resources will start.
  • Once the majority of guests have left the property after the final service of the day, the remaining Parking Team Members will help to gather the remaining traffic control resources and it is the Hunter Park Parking Lead's responsibility to collect those and deliver them to the golf cart parking garage.
  • The Hunter Park Parking Lead ensures that all traffic control resources are stored in their designated places and that the 3 carts used by the Parking Team are parked correctly and plugged in so they can charge.
  • Once all the work is completed, the Hunter Park Parking Lead will text the Facilities Staff Member on campus, letting him know that the Hunter Park Parking Lead is done for the day and leaving.
  • The Hunter Park Parking Lead will work closely with the the Pastor/Minister who is assigned to the Hunter Park Parking Lot Team to ensure:
    • A healthy balance of both attending a weekend service and also serving for all team members
    • Each team member's discipleship journey is a priority, ensuring resources are offered and accountability is present

  • Past parking lot traffic management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team - taking great care of stewarding their time well between managing and serving the Parking Team while ensuring the parking strategy is being successfully implemented.

  • Must be able to accommodate regular physical demands associated with this position, which includes moving traffic control resources, driving a golf cart, and dealing with the variations in weather that we experience in Riverside.

Compensation Information: Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour
