Job description

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Contracts Specialist to join our Legal team. This position will be located preferably out of our Eden Prairie location; however, our other Twin Cities, Metro locations will be considered.
We are seeking a driven and dedicated team member to join our Legal team to assist with serving as a legal operations contact, reviewing contracts, identifying provisions and assisting the Company's General Counsel and business stakeholders with contract negotiations.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Serve as a legal operations contact for contract intake, initial review, negotiation support, routing, execution, filing, and follow-up.
  • Review contracts, amendments, agreements related documents for completeness, consistency, internal standards.
  • Identify contract provisions requiring cross-functional review and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist the Company's General Counsel and business stakeholders with contract negotiations, revisions, and related communications.
  • Manage day-to-day use of the company's contract management processes, including intake, approvals, execution and recordkeeping.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of contract administration practices, legal documentation, confidentiality requirements, document retention, and business risk review processes
  • General understanding of contract terms and identifying missing or inconsistent information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with contract lifecycle management systems

Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Salary Range: $65,000 - 95,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
