Role Overview 

The successful athlete will be creative, passionate, and driven.  Regularly utilizes a strong sense of brand identity, color, and graphic design techniques to create professional and original designs as well as develop seasonal licensed assortments. Will strive to maintain Corporate Branding and season creative direction that enhance individual Leagues and Licenses through visual storytelling. This person needs to be results-oriented, team player with a passion for sports.  This is a fast paced, exciting work environment where you will work with a passionate team, producing quality graphics.

how you will make an impact:

  • Responsible for creating graphics for our licensed business.
  • Ability to replicate design templates.
  • Assist in the development of design and hot market presentations supporting brand and league marks.
  • Proofs color comps for trademarks, taglines, colors, and team logos prior to submitting to our Licensing department.
  • Maintain an active understanding of trends in sports apparel and sports / pop culture, consumer insights, new business opportunities, and competitors in the market to influence design aesthetic and strategy through the development of original and creative design.
  • Confidently share fresh perspectives that will enhance creativity and promote new ideas through written and verbal communications to internal partners.
  • Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
  • Treats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

what you bring to the team:

  • Associate degree in Arts or related field or the equivalent combination of education, 
    training, or work experience
  • Must provide a strong professional portfolio showcasing a wide range of design skills/abilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change, and maintain composure under pressure. 
  • Must have intermediate to advanced level experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with Pantone Matching System
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards team, vendors, and clients.
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Can manage projects individually or as a part of a team.

  • The compensation rate for this position is $19 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
