Job Description

  • Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
  • Work directly with inventors, engineers, scientists, and business leaders to protect innovative technologies.
  • Analyze complex technical inventions in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics.
  • Draft high-quality patent applications with clear, strategic claim coverage.
  • Respond to Office Actions and develop effective prosecution strategies.
  • Conduct patentability analyses and collaborate on intellectual property portfolio development.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal guidance.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team focused on technical excellence and client success.

Qualifications

  • Active Bar license in any U.S. state.
  • 2+ years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Technical background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
  • Strong patent drafting and prosecution writing skills.
  • Excellent technical comprehension and analytical ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Advanced degree or industry experience is a plus but not required.
