The average pay rate for a paralegal in the United States varies based on experience, location, and employer, but as of 2024, it typically ranges from $22 to $35 per hour. Entry-level paralegals may earn closer to $18 per hour, while those with specialized skills or working in large metropolitan areas can earn upwards of $40 per hour.
