Many Painting Professors also mentor students pursuing careers in the visual arts.
What are typical daily responsibilities for a painting professor?

They also grade assignments, participate in faculty meetings, and may contribute to curriculum planning or attend student exhibitions. Collaboration with colleagues from other art disciplines is common, as is mentoring students on portfolio development or career options. The role is dynamic, offering a blend of creative instruction, academic duties, and active participation in the broader art community.
