Job Title: Paint Line Team Member
Republic Extrusions/Team Pride Extrusions: Megargel, TX
U.S. Position: Does not qualify for work visa/sponsorship.
The Company
Republic Extrusions/Team Pride Extrusions is a leader in providing high-quality aluminum extrusion products and services tailored for various industrial needs.
Position Summary: To perform any necessary preparation of parts for the paint line and to hang/remove parts to and from the paint line in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
  • Identify and report safety concerns to the Paint Line Leader
  • Identify and report maintenance needs to the Paint Line Leader
  • Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product being painted and respond accordingly
  • Interpretation of work orders and drawings
  • Prepare material for painting according to information contained on the work order and/or drawings
  • Hang and remove material to and from the paint line in such a manner as to preserve quality and maintain efficient line speed
  • Work at the blow-off as assigned to assure that all excessive moisture is removed prior to paint application
  • Maintain a good attendance record
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: This is an entry level position and does not require any specific qualifications other than presenting a strong work ethic and good attendance.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma preferred
Language/Communication Skills:
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Compensation:
  • Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
