Job Description

We are seeking a Paint Line Supervisor to lead daily operations within our powder coating department. This role is responsible for overseeing production flow, optimizing efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting team development to meet production goals.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience in powder coating or industrial finishing
  • Strong understanding of production flow and process optimization
  • Ability to lead teams and make real-time decisions

Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with both powder coating and wet paint processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily paint line operations, including hanging, coating, and workflow coordination

  • Monitor coating quality, including appearance, adhesion, and process consistency
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure standard work and processes are followed
  • Manage inventory of powder, chemicals, and paint line supplies
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and materials teams on daily requirements
  • Train, assign, and develop paint line personnel
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
  • Ensure preventive maintenance is completed and equipment is operating properly
  • Monitor system parameters (booths, filters, washer chemistry, etc.)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be physically capable of standing/bending/stooping/squatting at any time to help line move.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 30 pounds on a given day, without assistance.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull material and equipment as needed.
  • Must be able to wear required safety equipment including gloves, safety shoes and safety glasses.
