Job description

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking an Acquisition Consultant with an active TS/SCI clearance, available to be onsite near Melbourne, FL in support of our client.

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the Government client in conducting strategic requirements review, acquisition strategy development, Request for Proposal development, and in performing other related procurement tasks as required.
  • Review requirements documents submitted by the Program Office to determine adequacy and sufficiency and make recommendations.
  • Prepare solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans, and other documents required in accordance with regulatory and local guidance. Documents shall be accurate, current, and maintained up to date.
  • Develop and prepare requirements documents (e.g., PWS, technical evaluation factors, performance plans, etc.).
  • Prepare modifications for various contractual actions to include, but not limited to, contracts, purchase/delivery/Orders, blanket purchase agreements, indefinite delivery contracts, as necessary.
  • Respond to Freedom of Information Requests and Protest actions.
  • Advise and assist the Government in the full life cycle of acquisitions and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all acquisition matters.

The ideal candidate will have these required skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum clearance at TS/SCI level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business or related major.
  • Have a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements.
  • Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • 8+ years of federal contracting experience, preferably at the DoD.
  • DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level III certified.
  • Extensive experience on complex, large efforts ($100M+).
