Job description

Enterprise Application Administrator
Cardiac Study Center / Pulse Heart Institute
Puyallup, WA
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Occasional Weekends & After-Hours Support
About Us
Cardiac Study Center (CSC) partners with Pulse Heart Institute to deliver trusted outpatient cardiology care across the Pacific Northwest. For more than 50 years, CSC has supported exceptional cardiology services throughout the region. In 2016, CSC partnered with MultiCare Health System to create Pulse Heart Institute, bringing together clinical excellence, innovation, research, and education to improve heart health in our communities.
Behind every great patient experience is technology that works. Our IT team supports the systems, applications, devices, and infrastructure that keep our clinics connected and our teams focused on patient care.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
  • Work with a diverse enterprise technology environment spanning clinical and business systems
  • Get hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows, Epic, PACS, DICOM, and more
  • Solve real-world technical problems where your work has a direct impact on patient care
  • Work alongside clinical, administrative, and physician teams across the organization
  • Build your technical skill set through exposure to new technologies, projects, and systems
  • Join a team that values curiosity, continuous learning, and practical problem-solving
About the Role
As an Enterprise Application Administrator, you'll provide hands-on technical support across our clinical and administrative environments. You'll troubleshoot everything from user access and Microsoft 365 issues to workstations, applications, network connectivity, and specialized healthcare technology.
This is a role for someone who enjoys figuring things out. You'll work directly with end users, investigate technical issues, implement solutions, and know when a problem calls for escalation or collaboration with a vendor or senior technical resource.
You'll also have the opportunity to work with specialized healthcare technologies, including Epic, PACS, and DICOM, while supporting the systems that connect our clinics and care teams.
Support may happen remotely, over the phone, or onsite at CSC locations throughout the region.
You Will Love This Role If:
  • You like figuring out how things work. You enjoy digging into a technical problem, testing solutions, and getting to the root cause rather than simply applying a workaround.
  • You're a tech generalist at heart. You enjoy moving between applications, hardware, networking, user accounts, and systems instead of being limited to one technology.
  • You like helping people without speaking "IT." You can take a complex technical issue and explain it in a way that makes sense to someone who doesn't live in the command line.
  • You want exposure to healthcare technology. Working with Epic, PACS, DICOM, Microsoft environments, and other clinical systems gives you an opportunity to build specialized experience.
  • You're comfortable being the person who figures it out. You can work independently, stay organized, and recognize when it's time to bring in additional expertise.
  • You're always learning. Technology changes quickly, and you enjoy keeping your skills current and picking up new tools along the way.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Triage and manage incoming incidents through the IT ticketing system
  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support to clinical and administrative users
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, connectivity, and access issues
  • Provide remote and onsite support using tools such as RDP, Dameware, or TeamViewer
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices
  • Support Windows 10/11 environments and Windows Server systems
Enterprise Applications & Clinical Technology
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and services
  • Assist with user accounts and access across on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Support and troubleshoot healthcare applications, including Epic Ambulatory/Radiant
  • Assist with PACS and DICOM connectivity and troubleshoot related issues
  • Support clinical and business applications, interfaces, and related technologies
Vendor & Partner Support
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external technology vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Coordinate technical support with vendors and partners across clinical and enterprise systems
  • Maintain productive working relationships with technology partners and service providers
Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in technology projects and system implementations as assigned
  • Assist with software updates, system maintenance, and technology rollouts
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support records
  • Provide user training and guidance when new systems, applications, or processes are introduced
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology workflows and the user experience
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting, implementing, operating, or maintaining information systems
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology in a healthcare, clinical, or administrative environment
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues and working directly with end users
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of assigned work
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel between CSC locations (Pierce, Kitsap, Thurston & King County)
Preferred Experience
  • Healthcare IT experience
  • Experience with Epic Ambulatory or Radiant
  • Experience with PACS and DICOM
  • Microsoft 365 administration or support
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • Experience working with healthcare interfaces, systems, or databases
  • IT project coordination or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Work Environment
  • Schedule: Full-time, primarily during regular business hours
  • Location: Puyallup, WA
  • Setting: In-office with onsite support across CSC clinic locations (hybrid-remote work may be an option in the future)
  • Travel: Regular travel between clinic locations may be required; reliable personal vehicle required
  • After-Hours Support: Occasional evening, weekend, or after-hours work may be required for system maintenance, projects, or clinic support. Saturday coverage may occasionally be needed when clinics are operating.
Physical Requirements
This role includes regular movement between office and clinic environments, including standing, walking, reaching, and working with computers and equipment. The ability to lift and carry equipment or packages weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
Pay & Benefits
Cardiac Study Center / Pulse Heart Institute offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement benefits / 401(k)
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Training and opportunities to expand your technical expertise

Pay Range: $33.52 - $54.65
Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, certifications, and education, consistent with internal equity and applicable pay transparency requirements.
