Job description

Manufacturing Machine Operators! Do you have production and Machine Operation experience? We are looking for you!
We need full-time Machine Operators that will learn to operate paper converting machinery in the production of bath tissue and paper towels. The position is located in Conroe, TX.
Must be able to work 12 hour shift rotation, weekends and holidays! Shift hours are 6:00 - 6:30.
This role is key to our production and if you have the experience in manufacturing and can maintain a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiency we want you! The production area is climate controlled.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate and maintain production machines in a paper converting line. (Rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.)
  • Ability to adhere to Safety Policy and Procedures a must!
  • Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
  • Load raw materials (Parent Reels, Poly Rolls, Core Materials) by using overhead crane, pallet jack, etc.
  • Monitor equipment, perform resets, replenish and troubleshoot assigned area of the line as needed.
  • Determine and report downtime, pallet counts, machine speeds, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
  • Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.
  • May operate automated packaging equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of machine operation experience required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team!
  • Physical: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts standing, bending, stooping and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent attendance record (the schedule is the 2-2-3 schedule)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a Rotational work schedule (Days and Nights) including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to complete background check and pre- employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
