Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description

This role involves working on a packing line where vinyl parts for window frames come off the production line. You will handle, stack, and prepare parts for packaging while following basic work orders and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Positions are available on both day and night shifts with a 2-2-3 schedule and opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the packing line to handle vinyl parts as they come off the production line.
  • Stand on your feet for the majority of the shift while monitoring parts coming off the line.
  • Lift 10–15 lb parts off the machine and stack them neatly for packaging.
  • Follow basic work orders to record part numbers accurately; no prior experience with work orders is required.
  • Perform general production, labor, and packaging tasks as assigned.
  • Use basic hand tools and assembly techniques as needed for production and packaging activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in a large manufacturing facility.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of required personal protective equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members and line leads to ensure consistent production flow and meet daily output goals.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to stand on your feet for 8–10 hours per day.
  • 1 year of production or warehouse experience preferred.
  • 1 year of labor or packaging experience preferred.
  • Capability to lift and handle parts weighing approximately 10–15 lbs repeatedly.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.

There are many opportunities to move into higher-responsibility and higher-paying roles, including machine operator, line lead, and materials positions. Work Environment

You will work in a very large yet clean manufacturing facility that produces window frames. The environment includes extensive machinery throughout the plant, and the facility is kept in good condition. Roles follow a 2-2-3 schedule on 12-hour shifts, with both 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m. options available. You can also pick up an extra 12-hour shift to reach up to 48 hours per week, with unlimited overtime offered throughout the year. The position requires standing for most of the shift and performing repetitive lifting of 10–15 lb parts. Steel-toed shoes are required as part of the dress code, while safety glasses and gloves are provided depending on the area where you work. The facility emphasizes safety and cleanliness while maintaining a busy, production-focused atmosphere.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
