Job description

TRC Talent Solutions is looking for a Packaging Line Lead for our client in Camp Creek, GA!
Primary Purpose:
Ensures that lines are ran in a safe and efficient manner. Line leads direct line activities, leads production personnel, and ensures that quality procedures ae followed and maintained.
Job Details:
  • Hours: Monday - Friday (6am-2pm)

  • Pay: $16

  • Position: Packaging Line Lead

Job Requirements:
  • Takes direction from the shift lead(s) on day-to-day operations

  • Organizes and assists in training temporary staff in accordance with ISO,FDA, and required safety standards

  • Ensures production schedules are followed to meet shipping requirements

  • Prepares line for production at the beginning of shift or when switching to different products

  • Obtains and verifies accurate labels are supplied to the line

  • Completes daily paperwork required for the line operation

  • Makes recommendations as related to staffing evaluation, requirements and performance to shift lead(s) or shift supervisor

  • Notifies shift lead(s) or the supervisor of any equipment problems or quality issues

  • Investigates issues related to line performance and production output

  • Assist in updating quality and production records on a daily basis

  • Follows safety and quality guidelines

  • Ensures all employees are compliant with PPE and dress code

  • Leads group of individuals to ensure company rules, guidelines and procedures are being followed

  • Assists in conducting team meetings

  • Other duties as assigned by shift lead, supervisor, or management

Qualifications:
  • Required: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • 6+months of related experience

  • Must pass Line Lead test

  • Ability to perform standard arithmetic conversions or calculations

  • Basic PC skills are preferred

  • Previous exposure to computer systems

  • General knowledge of assigned machinery, procedures, and equipment is a must

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in group setting

  • Must be able to interpret written and oral instructions, as well as in diagram form

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts
