About The Opportunity

This position is responsible for leading the Production Line Staff.

Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Professional in attitude and performance in leadership of staff
  • Work in conjunctions with other departments for positive production results
  • Inspection of product every hour or more frequently depending if the job is complex or critical in its design or use
  • Knowledge of the rates of the jobs running on the production line you are responsible for
  • Responsible for reconciliation to ensure accuracy of job
  • Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job
  • Perform all functions as required in WMS
  • Responsible for training line workers in all aspects of production line work
  • Responsible for maintaining company safety environment
  • Responsible for effectively ensuring company procedures and policies are being followed

Education & Experience

  • Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Three to six months related experience or training in warehouse production

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to understand all aspects of the WMS system
  • Ability to understand quality standards, methods and reporting as required
  • Ability to plan in advance for production in your area
  • Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written
  • Ability to produce at a high level through your staff
  • Ability to work with plant management for required results
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting
  • Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
