The Bernard Group is looking for an enthusiastic Kitting Line Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end kitting process, ensuring final printed products are accurately assembled into customer-ready packages while meeting TBG’s quality, safety, and production standards. This role leads daily kitting operations, coordinates workflow, and provides direction and training to Kitting Operators and temporary staff to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on schedule.

The Lead serves as the primary point of contact on the kitting floor, ensuring materials, staffing, and processes are aligned to meet customer deadlines and maintain high-quality output.

Shifts available: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred
  • 2 years minimum related experience in a kitting lead role is recommended
  • Basic computer skills required

On top of that you must:

  • pay close attention to details to successfully move/ pull the correct product
  • have basic computer skills, including Pace and Google
  • be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs
  • plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own work
  • have the ability to work independently, make decisions and solve moderate level problems independently, effectively and creatively
  • complete jobs accurately within deadlines, while meeting company quality standards

  • understand and maintain the confidential nature of company, employee and customer information

In this position, you will:

  • review incoming Kitting Projects with Kitting Managers and Project Managers
  • coordinate with Project Managers and Supply Coordinators on materials, raw goods and ETAs
  • use the project distro to create a vision for the kitting line
  • determine and coordinate project staffing once time studies have been completed
  • set up the production line
  • maintain integrity of all quality goals and metrics that provide world class services to our clients
  • communicate with Warehouse/Fulfillment Operations Managers and Supervisors to define daily work schedules that minimize overtime and reduce labor costs
  • assist in the training and development of both regular and temporary workforce
  • meet or exceed OSHA guidelines
  • maintain a professional and helpful attitude in dealing with co-workers, supervisors and their departmental personnel at all times
  • approach work in an organized and detail oriented manner
  • provide positive flexibility while being productive in an interruptive environment
  • complete other duties as assigned by management
