Job description

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to read packing lists and assembly drawings in order to accurately assemble, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to work instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow assembly instructions, processes, and procedures by reviewing assembly drawings, work instructions, and parts lists
  • Assemble orders by ensuring proper fit, fastening parts, and completing sub-assemblies as required
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met throughout the assembly and packaging process
  • Report any issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Team Leader
  • Provide hands-on training and support to coworkers as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity and good visual acuity required for assembly work
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift
