Job description

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the fulfillment and shipment of customer orders.

  • Forklift, pallet jack, and/or other material handling equipment as part of the distribution process within a fast-paced warehouse setting
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, equipment type, model, or part number
  • Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
  • Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders, and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to center purchase orders
  • Performs proper packing and prep of all outbound orders
    • Performs QA check for equipment readiness and accuracy
  • Follow safety regulations while operating equipment

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Preferred 3 to 6 months experience in a warehouse environment
    • Training provided as necessary
  • Previous shipping/distribution and/or warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to successfully pass and maintain forklift certification
  • Operate power industrial equipment as needed

Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. This employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
