Job Description This Product Owner is responsible for managing and optimizing the data consumption platform, ensuring it aligns with business goals and user needs. They oversee the product backlog, drive feature delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a strategic roadmap and user journey. Additionally, the Product Owner tracks demand readiness, monitors progress toward growth targets, and ensures timely delivery of all commitments to support the platform's long-term scalability and success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the strategic development and operational management of the Data Lake Consumption Layer (Gold Layer) product.

Collect, manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of committed features.

Collaborate with internal teams (Data Analytics, DevOps, Data Source Teams) to align product goals with business needs.

Develop and maintain a two-year product roadmap, focusing on business process architecture and user journey enablement.

Track demand readiness & completion and ensure the platform can meet evolving business requirements.

Monitor and report progress towards key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring product milestones are met.

Continuously improve the consumption layer platform to enhance its scalability and performance in line with business growth.

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog

  • Translate the Business Owners strategies to tasks for development

  • Break epics into user stories

  • Arrange and prioritize sprints

  • Evaluate progress at each stage of development

  • Stay accessible and answer Development Team's questions about the reasoning for user stories or tasks

  • Serve as a liaison between product and development just like a Scrum Master

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2-3 years work experience in demand or capacity management, platforms, or service governance

  • Work experience in a telco company is preferred; with working knowledge of telco fundamentals

  • Graduate of Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or other related courses

  • Working knowledge in financial valuation and business case development
