The Senior Project Manager provides the overall planning, coordination, and direction for project management activities to ensure they meet owner needs, specifications, cost, and schedule, from initial project identification through construction closeout. May supervise office/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistant project/construction managers, project/construction managers and other assigned staff. This position will support construction in the Healthcare Sector.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:ย 

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing the following services or for supervising the Project Management team members that perform these services:

  • Manages all aspects of project lifecycle, including project planning, design development, construction and closeout phases.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and interprets complex project design and construction budgets, schedules, and costs to ensure conformance with authorized scope, time and financial requirements.
  • Supervises project teams in developing projectsโ€™ scope, schedule, and budget ensuring the goals and vision of the stakeholders are reflected
  • Manages funding strategies for each of the projects within a program.

Minimum Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of (10) years full time paid professional experience in the management and administration of various programs and projects under programs to include scope development, planning and design, budget and funding allocation and project close-out
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare facility design and construction in the healthcare sector is preferred
  • Proficiency with various document control systems.
  • Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred
  • Certified Construction Manager preferred
