Position Summary

The Owner Relations Assistant is an entry-level, developmental position designed to support our Owner Relations team while building the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to advance into an Owner Relations Manager role.

This position provides hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of owner relations, including property owner communication, portfolio performance, service recovery, revenue awareness, owner retention, and relationship management. Working alongside one of the highest-performing Owner Relations teams in the vacation rental industry, the Owner Relations Assistant will gain real-world experience through mentorship, collaboration, and daily interaction with property owners and internal departments.

Over time, this role is intended to develop the confidence, judgment, and expertise necessary to independently manage an assigned owner portfolio and territory.

This is a developmental position with a typical evaluation period of 6–12 months. Advancement to Owner Relations Manager is based on demonstrated performance, communication skills, accountability, adaptability, initiative, and overall readiness to manage property owner relationships independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Owner Relations team with daily property owner communication, follow-up, and administrative needs.

  • Learn the fundamentals of owner portfolio management and long-term relationship building.

  • Gain an understanding of property performance, revenue trends, market conditions, and the factors that impact owner satisfaction.

  • Assist with service recovery by helping resolve property owner concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Partner with Revenue, Operations, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to support owner success and portfolio performance.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, task tracking, and timely follow-through on owner requests.

  • Shadow and train alongside Owner Relations Managers to develop the skills necessary for future portfolio ownership.

  • Continuously expand knowledge of company systems, vacation rental operations, and best practices in owner relations.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 1+ years of customer service, property management, hospitality, administrative support, or owner relations experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive owner relationships.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional phone etiquette and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in property management, vacation rentals, HOA management, or real estate.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and property management software.

  • Knowledge of contracts, owner statements, and financial reporting.

  • Experience coordinating owner communications and resolving concerns.

  • Understanding of hospitality industry standards and customer satisfaction practices.

Compensation, Benefits, & ScheduleHourly Salary: $18-$21Bonus
