Key Responsibilities
Design implement and manage Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance
Collaborate with development teams to integrate Kafka with various applications
Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters to identify and resolve issues
Develop and maintain Kafkarelated documentation and best practices
Provide guidance and support to teams on Kafkarelated queries and challenges
Kafka Expertise Indepth knowledge of Kafka architecture configuration and administration
AWS Services Basic understanding of AWS services including Policies Roles Service Accounts Secret Manager Route 53 SSM KMS EKS S3 and DynamoDB
Security Understanding of security best practices related to Kafka and AWS services
Performance Optimization Ability to optimize Kafka clusters for performance and scalability
Troubleshooting Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve Kafkarelated issues
Documentation Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation
Proven experience as a Kafka SME or similar role
Familiarity with AWS services and their integration with Kafka
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes EKS
Knowledge of data storage solutions like S3 and DynamoDB
Familiarity with AWS security services such as KMS and Secret Manager
