Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Overseas Operations Manager (P2P) to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across key overseas markets.
This role requires deep understanding of P2P market mechanics, merchant ecosystem dynamics, regional payment infrastructures, and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating P2P markets at leading exchanges (e.g., Binance, Bybit, Bitget) and can independently formulate expansion strategies while delivering measurable growth outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Expansion & Growth Strategy
  • Develop and implement regional P2P expansion strategies to ensure sustainable and stable business growth
  • Monitor regional regulatory developments and assess their impact on P2P business models
  • Continuously adjust market strategy based on competitive landscape and market shifts
 
  1. P2P Merchant & Ecosystem Management
  • Design and optimize advertiser (merchant) onboarding, segmentation, and incentive structures
  • Maintain close engagement with key merchants to ensure liquidity depth and spread competitiveness
  • Improve completion rate, trading efficiency, and dispute resolution performance
  • Develop structured management frameworks for regional merchant operations
 
  1. Operational Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance P2P transaction workflows and feature design
  • Provide structured feedback on product gaps, user pain points, and regional behavioral differences
  • Improve end-to-end operational efficiency, including order flow, payment processing, and dispute handling
  1. Data Monitoring & Competitive Intelligence
  • Monitor core P2P KPIs (volume, active users, merchant depth, spreads, completion rate, dispute rate)
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and anomaly detection to identify growth bottlenecks and risk patterns
  • Track competitor strategies (pricing, incentives, merchant policies, risk models) and propose strategic responses
 
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in platform operations; crypto / Web3 experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on P2P operations experience in overseas markets (outside Mainland China)
  • Experience at major exchanges 
  • Strong understanding of:
    • P2P liquidity dynamics and spread formation
    • Regional payment systems (bank transfers, local e-wallets, alternative rails)
  • Proven ability to adapt operational strategy based on market and competitive changes
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English; Chinese or other regional languages are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing regional teams, community contributors, or local operators
  • Strong understanding of overseas P2P fraud patterns and payment risks
  • Ability to independently articulate structural differences between regional P2P markets
