JOB SUMMARY

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Have fun in the sun while pursuing an exciting career in the casino industry. Work with an awesome overnight team while ensuring a good time for our guests.  This is a full time, year around position with an excellent compensation package. This includes medical, paid sick time, paid vacation time, paid personal time, holiday pay and 401k options. If you possess the desire to work for a great company, then we would love to have you! (***Please Note: This role is for our Grave Shift 11:45PM - 7:45AM***) The pay for this position is $16.50 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responds to calls requesting the need for surveillance coverage.
  • Conducts surveillance through the CCTV system utilizing the necessary equipment to observe, report and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
  • Communicates violations in a timely manner to appropriate supervisory personnel and follows up with accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Prepares additional reports as needed.
  • Conducts tape reviews as assigned.
  • Documents equipment malfunctions.
  • Responsible for compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and company Policies & Procedures.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Previous experience in casino surveillance preferred.
  • Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time without difficulty.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
