Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops strong account relationship based on understanding customer needs and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Handles various aspects of account, including pricing, billing, and Service Provider issues.
  • Enters contracts in specified systems.
  • Contacts each account every 60 days.
  • Sells new advertising in other areas or categories.
  • Introduces Services Providers to other Corporate programs, including Big Deal and Storefront.
  • Verifies license status.
  • Educates current advertisers on services Corporate offers to increase ROI and provides customer service to existing advertisers.
  • Captures new membership growth through renewal of expiring advertising agreements and origination of additional advertising agreements.
  • Performs related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Possession of high school diploma required, Bachelor's degree in sales, communication, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of previous sales experience.
  • Telephone sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales best practices and sales metrics required.
  • Strong computer skills required, particularly in internet and email.
