Job description

Interventional Radiologist Position Available

Our organization in Janesville, Wisconsin, is actively looking for an Interventional Radiologist to become part of our exceptional team of collaborative physicians!

We are a multi-regional, integrated healthcare system that includes:

  • 7 hospitals
  • Over 700 employed physicians
  • More than 85 outpatient clinics and various service locations

Our services extend to more than 60 communities across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, offering over 125 specialty and subspecialty services, such as:

  • Adult critical care
  • Neonatal intensive care
  • Neurosurgery
  • Heart and vascular care
  • Cancer treatment
  • Plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Da Vinci robotic surgery
Position Highlights:
  • We are looking for a board-eligible or board-certified Interventional Radiologist with fellowship training who can interpret a wide variety of imaging modalities.
  • Experience or fellowship training in breast imaging, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal imaging is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Collaborate with a sister practice that includes fellowship-trained subspecialists.
  • No overnight shifts required.
  • Enjoy twelve (12) weeks of paid time off, with an increase each year.
  • All cases are of academic caliber, paired with a competitive salary.

  • Primary practice location will be our Trauma Center in Janesville, with some responsibilities in northern Illinois.
Current Practice Scope:

Our practitioners handle all aspects of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, including:

  • Peripheral arterial disease management, including acute limb ischemia and critical limb ischemia cases
  • Percutaneous AAA treatment/EVAR
  • Interventional Oncology: Biopsy, TACE, thermal ablation, renal MWA and cryoablation, liver-directed therapy, RF ablation, and kyphoplasty for spinal tumors
  • GI procedures: Biliary drainage, Spyglass-assisted percutaneous cholangioscopy, GI bleed embolization, TIPS, BRTO, and endovascular treatment of visceral aneurysms
  • Spine interventions: Kyphoplasty, bone biopsy, ablation, lumbar ESI
  • GU/GYN procedures: Nephrostomy, renal MWA and cryoablation, embolization for postpartum hemorrhage, uterine artery embolization, pelvic congestion syndrome embolization, prostate artery embolization, gastrostomy placement, GJ placement
  • Venous interventions: Venous recanalization, thrombectomy, May-Thurner syndrome treatment, venous stenting, central venous recanalization, HD access maintenance, IVC filter placement and retrieval, venous access (Port, PICC)
  • Pulmonary procedures: Pulmonary embolism thrombectomy, pulmonary AVM embolization, bronchial artery embolization, and hemoptysis treatment

Interested candidates may receive training in stroke therapy, although this is not a requirement.

Qualifications:
  • MD/DO with board certification or eligibility
  • Completion of residency training from an ACGME-accredited family medicine program
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Commitment to providing exceptional care across all age groups
