As an Overnight Hotel Supervisor, you will serve as the Manager on Duty overnight, providing leadership and guest support. Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Acting as Manager on Duty during the overnight shift
• Supervise and support the overnight team
• Handle guest concerns, escalations, and special requests
• Ensure overnight operational continuity and safety
• Oversee night audit functions and reports
• Maintain communication with management regarding overnight incidents or concerns
• Conduct security patrols
• Ensure brand standards, policies, and procedures are upheld overnight
• Conduct all audit procedures in accordance with hotel and company standards on a daily basis
• Verify and confirm the status of all wake-up call requests, ensuring proper handling and follow-up
• Prepare the front office for the upcoming shifts, resetting systems and operations for the day's business
• Function as PBX operator during the audit shift, managing communication duties effectively
• Participate in all front office meetings with an active and collaborative approach
• Engage in all training and cross-training opportunities, continually enhancing skill sets
• Proactively greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive guest experience
• Other duties as assigned by Rooms leadership

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $24.00 plus $1 overnight shift premium. This is the annual hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individua hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years of age (required by California law to handle alcoholic beverages)
• Previous experience working at a hotel/resort required
• Proficiency in OPERA system is a plus
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
