Basic Purpose
Summarize the highlights of
the position in terms of basic
purpose and what it is supposed to accomplish.
  • Support the Camp Director in daily camp operations and provide leadership to camp attendees and camp counselors.

Key Role
List the Key Roles of the position that support the basic purpose
  • Provide encouragement, guidance and support to campers and camp counselors
  • Help guide staff with behavior management, activity execution, and professional conduct
  • Serve as a point of contact for parents and guardians when needed
  • Act as a Leader on campus, modeling positive behavior, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
  • Step in as Director when Camp Director is unavailable

Key Responsibilities
Provide a few key metrics

  • Assist Camp Director in planning, implementing, and overseeing daily camp activities
  • Ensure camper safety and well-being by enforcing camp policies and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies

  • Support daily operations including scheduling, attendance tracking, transitions, and supply coordination
  • Support camper supervision

Other Responsibilities
  • Help chaperone children during off-campus field trips as needed
  • Help facilitate the check-in/drop-off period in the morning and the pick-up time in the afternoon
