Opportunity Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating and performing all distribution center data entry functions to ensure accurate and timely information for customers and for the Company.
How you will make contributions that matter:
  • Enters or processes data daily for several distribution center functions, including billing, purchase orders, delivery invoices to provide internal and external customers with accurate information, reduce errors, improve customer service, contain costs, and facilitate smooth operations.
  • Answers and places telephone calls using the highest level of customer service.
  • Takes calls from customers, troubleshoots any issues with ordering or deliveries and answers any customer questions. This often requires additional research and customer follow-up.
  • Routinely communicates with stores to obtain fax and AOS/ROP information to create orders, to provide stores with information regarding new products, promotions, and to allow them to plan effectively.
  • File maintenance of invoices, credits and charges.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Bring:
  • Education – Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience – 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in data entry and customer service.
  • Other Required Skills or Abilities – Customer service, technical skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point), voice selection technology (Lucas), JD Edwards, managerial/leadership skills, Excellent administrative experience, attention to detail, knowledge of computer-based inventory control systems, and order processing concepts and techniques.
