Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects, including new data center design, build, migration, and relocation initiatives.
  • Manage enterprise LAN, MDF, networking, compute, storage, and telecommunications projects.
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, contractors, and third-party partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, process maps, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage infrastructure migration activities with minimal business disruption.
  • Oversee vendor coordination, procurement activities, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the development and implementation of project management standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Track project performance using appropriate project management tools and reporting methodologies.
  • Maintain strong communication with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership.
  • Conduct financial tracking and budget analysis while managing project constraints.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of IT Project Management experience with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing Data Center Design, Build, Migration, and Relocation projects.
  • Successfully completed at least three enterprise Data Center Build/Relocation/Migration projects involving:
    • Facilities
    • Network Infrastructure
    • Compute
    • Storage
    • Data Migration
  • Experience leading two or more corporate headquarters relocation projects supporting 1,000+ users.
  • Hands-on experience managing:
    • LAN Design & Implementation
    • MDF Design, Build & Go-Live
    • Network and Telecommunications Procurement
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure environments and project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Excellent project planning, budgeting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to commute to Newark, NJ and work onsite three days per week.
