Residential  Group Home Direct Care Staff

About us

Step Ahead Enterprises. Residential homes for teenage men and women.
We are looking for people ages 23+ who like to work with kids and want to make a difference in this world!
We need people who can show compassion but provide strong leadership. People who can teach and coach, show the youth how to cook a proper meal, how to do their own laundry, how to dribble a basketball, and to teach the youth to show compassion for others.

REQUIRED FOR HIRE: You  need a valid AZ drivers license and level 1 fingerprint card to get your foot in the door. Please don't apply if you don't have both of these items.
Current shifts needing to be filled:

Monday-Friday 10pm-8am (40 hrs) -overnights
Monday-Friday 4pm-12am (40 hrs)
Saturday and Sunday 8pm-8am, overnight
Saturday and Sunday 8am-8pm
Additional fill-in hours available during the week
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Mesa, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
  • Caregiving/working with youth: 1 year (Required)
Qualifications:
  • fingerprint card and driver's license (Required)
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver or Direct Care Staff is preferred
  • First aid and CPR-certified
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
  • Ability to adhere to all company and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
