  • Manage and support wide-area networks (WAN), local-area networks (LAN), virtual private networks (VPN), and secure network protocols such as IPsec.
  • Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; perform vulnerability assessments; and implement necessary security measures.
  • Maintain network security through the configuration of firewalls, Cisco ISE for identity services, LDAP authentication, PKI certificates, and cloud security solutions.
  • Support data center operations by managing SAN storage systems, VMware vSphere environments, high availability configurations, and server virtualization.
  • Assist with network architecture design including routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; MPLS configurations; load balancing; and network management best practices.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python; utilize Ansible for configuration management; and support system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS), BSD variants, Solaris, macOS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network installation projects involving telecommunication systems and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Conduct regular network monitoring to identify vulnerabilities using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG; perform patching; ensure compliance with ITIL standards; and support disaster recovery plans.

Experience: Network Technician:
  • Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, DNS/DHCP services, NAT/PAT configurations, and open-source operating systems such as Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and UNIX variants.
  • Hands-on experience managing enterprise-grade network infrastructure including Cisco routers/switches, Juniper devices, Meraki cloud-managed networks, firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere or vCenter; cloud security practices on AWS or Azure; and scripting for automation purposes.
  • Knowledge of network security principles including encryption methods such as SSL/TLS; SSO implementations; LDAP integration; vulnerability assessment techniques; and openSUSE or Solaris environments.
  • Understanding of SDLC processes related to network deployment projects within Agile frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP), MPLS networks, high availability configurations, and load balancing solutions.
  • Strong background in system administration tasks across multiple operating systems including Windows Server environments and Linux distributions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills complemented by effective communication abilities suitable for diverse technical teams. If you possess a comprehensive skill set in computer networking combined with a passion for maintaining secure and efficient IT infrastructure systems—then we encourage you to apply today.
