JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Collections Specialist Supervisor - Revenue Administrator III - SES position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process in the Orlando Service Center. The incumbent prioritizes and allocates workloads, manages vacancies, identifies and analyzes workflow, performs costs/benefits analyses, implements process improvements, creates and maintains reports and presentations, and manages a work unit by establishing expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and fostering open communication. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for contacting taxpayers to resolve tax liabilities, recommending compromises, making corrections, and collecting tax, penalty, interest, and fees due to the State of Florida.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue in the General Tax Administration Program.
  • Three years of experience working in the General Tax Administration Program's Receivables Management Collection Process.                                     

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position travels locally to taxpayers' business locations. In addition, occasional overnight travel may be necessary for training purposes. For all travel, you will use your own means of transportation. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to agency policy. 
  • This position requires overtime which may include weekends.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $5,150.13 monthly/$61,801.56 annually.
