Dishwasher (overnight) 10pm-6:30pm
Melville, NY
Our Melville store is seeking a FT Dishwasher (for our overnight team)! Our Dishwasher will be responsible for washing plates, dishes, utensils, baking dishes/sheets and all other dirty Kitchen ware. The Dishwasher will also clean appliances and industrial equipment as needed, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed.
Dishwasher Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes, baking pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, serving spoons/ tools by washing all items that need to be washed and cleaned
  • Preparing Kitchen area stations with clean cooking utensils, tools, pots, pans, bowls, plates, etc.
  • Will clean machines and appliances used in the Kitchen
  • Will be responsible for removing the trash and rinsing garbage cans
  • Supporting other kitchen staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
  • Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Dishwasher Requirements:
  • 18 years or older
  • Previous experience working as a dishwasher is a plus
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
